(BP Portal) - The Ministry of Information and Communications has just issued a plan to organize the 2nd Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in 2023, with the message: "Books: Awareness - Innovation - Creativity", "Books for me, for you".

According to the plan, focus on organizing the 2nd Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day 2023 from 15/4 to 01/5.

The Ministry of Information and Communications proposed to mobilize all social resources to organize activities of Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day in a diverse and rich way, combining traditional activities with modern organizational methods according to the development trend of electronic publishing. Applying information technology, digital transformation to create new values, connecting the activities of the 2nd Book and Reading Culture Day from the central government with ministries, branches, organizations, unions and localities. Diversify the forms of release to bring books to users.

The Ministry proposed that localities implement plans to organize the 2nd Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day associated with political tasks and major holidays in 2023 in the locality. The Department of Information and Communications shall assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with departments and agencies in, organizing activities to celebrate the 2nd Vietnam Book and Reading Culture Day, and at the same time promote the organization of the Book and Reading Culture Day to grassroots areas, focusing on remote areas,  remote areas, areas with difficult conditions, in order to create a deep and effective response of society.

The response and extensive organization of this activity nationwide aims to promote the value of books and reading culture in the community, contributing to building a spiritual and cultural life, promoting moral values and studious traditions of the nation./.
