Binh Phuoc Meeting the Steering Committee for the remote examination and treatment Project

(BP Portal) - This morning, February 15, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee - Mrs.Tran Tuyet Minh, Head of the Steering Committee for the implementation of the Project "Remote medical examination and treatment" in the period of 2021 - 2025 in Binh Phuoc province chaired a meeting with members of the Steering Committee, in order to review the progress as well as difficulties,  entanglements in the process of implementing the project. The meeting connects online to the district, town and city level. Remote medical examination and treatment project to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment and professional capacity at the district level; have interconnection according to the health system, facilitating the proper and safe referral for patients; contributing to reducing travel costs in medical examination and treatment, traveling for people and upgrading consultation rooms, operating rooms, operating rooms, serving medical examination and treatment and improving the quality of people's health care.

The Project was implemented at the Provincial General Hospital, Traditional Medicine Hospital and district health centers. In particular, the provincial and local routes: Phuoc Long town, Binh Long town, Bu Dang, Bu Doc, Loc Ninh districts will perform medical examination, treatment and surgery remotely; the remaining localities will carry out remote medical examination and treatment. Currently, all units are ready with manpower, facilities, equipment and transmission lines to implement the project. 

However, in the process of implementation, certain difficulties have slowed down the progress of the project, because currently all procedures have only stopped at the initial procedures, and only 3/12 of the project's bidding packages have been implemented.

Member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh proposed: The Department of Health urgently has specific guidelines for provincial and district levels for medical establishments to develop feasible implementation plans, in accordance with the objectives of the project,  suitable for each locality. The Department of Health actively prepares full tasks, related to the project, such as: technical list, how to calculate hospital fees to report to the Project Steering Committee in 3 year.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Tran Tuyet Minh emphasized: With the importance of the project, the health sector must really participate, pay substantive attention, solve feasible work with the motto quickly, professionally, in accordance with the law. Difficulties and problems in the implementation process should be promptly reported to competent authorities for settlement. During the implementation process, the Steering Committee members need to coordinate well and be responsible./.
