SECURITY AND POLITICS

The security and politics of Vietnam in general and Binh Phuoc in particular are relatively stable against other countries in the region and the world, as the relatively favorable conditions for the investors to feel secure to launch investment, production and economic development.

SOCIO-ECONOMIC

In 2021, GRDP's growth rate will increase by 6.32%, the average income per capita is estimated at 74.9 million VND/person/year. The economic structure shifted in the right direction, agriculture, forestry and fishery sector reached 13,962.94 billion VND, up 3.81% than the same period last year; industry and construction increased by 6.73% over the same period last year. Product tax minus product subsidies reached VND 1,860.91 billion.

POPULATION AND EMPLOYMENT

The average population in 2020 of the province reached 1.011.076 persons, an increase of 13.310 persons, equivalent to a rise of 1,33% compared to that in 2019, of which urban population was 243.049 persons, accounting for 24,04%; rural population was 768.027 persons, accounting for 75,96%; the female population was 501.428 persons, accounting for 49,59%.

In 2020, the labor force aged 15 and over in the province was 617.020 persons, an increase of 12.690 persons compared to that in 2019, of which the male labor accounting for 52,97%; female labor was 47,03%; the labor force of urban and rural areas made up 28,79% and 71,21%, respectively.

Labor aged 15 years old and over working in economic activities in 2020 was 602.760 persons, an increase of 14.127 persons compared to that in 2019, of which: the state-owned sector was 78.143 persons, accounting for 12,96%; the non-state sector was 462.682 persons, accounting for 76,75%; the FDI sector was 61.935 persons, accounting for 10,29%.

In 2020, the percentage of trained employed workers aged 15 years old and above (for 3 months and more) gained 18,06%, of which the percentage of trained employed workers of urban and rural ares was 28,68% and 15,14%, respectively./.
