On the side of Binh Phuoc province, attending the meeting were Mr.Nguyen Manh Cuong - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Mrs.Tran Tue Hien - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of leaders of relevant departments, agencies and sectors.

Speaking at the session, Deputy Ministers Tran Quoc Phuong on behalf of the Council appreciated the interest, leadership and direction of Binh Phuoc Province in making and perfecting the plan. The Deputy minister pointed out that, for the first time, provincial planning is a new task, very difficult, very important and very urgent. Therefore, in order for Binh Phuoc Province to complete the planning according to the planning legislation, the Vice Minister shall propose to the members of the Council and participating experts for comments, concentrate on exchanging and clarify a number of substantive contents on the feasibility of a selected development scenario; The motivations, breakthroughs and contributions of each sector in GRDP; Considering the choice of the growth and development pillar, the sector gives priority to development in the planning period, especially the key and break-through tasks.

After being approved by the Planning Council, the Vice Minister Tran Quoc Phuong stated: Once the Prime Minister approves the official planning, this will be an important milestone in Enabling Binh Phuoc Province to actively create the future and develop in a radical, sustainable and creative way. Deputy Ministers believe that Binh Phuoc will turn "potential" into "dynamic", which is higher than "resources" and "incentives" for development. From this point on, reasonable allocation of the province's socio-economic development space in order to be rapid and sustainable in the coming period. Speaking at the meeting, Mr.Nguyen Manh Cuong- the Secretary of the Provincial Committee said, having experienced 25 years of building, developing, integration and aspirational development, Binh Phuoc has achieved a great deal of important, comprehensive, initial success in doi moi. The province's economic potential and appearance have changed considerably, gradually realizing its position in the South East, significantly contributing to the country's industrialization and modernization and international integration.

The draft planning of Binh Phuoc province for the period of 2021-2030, with a vision to 2050, sets out development orientations including 3 important economic sectors (industry, agriculture, trade - service), 3 breakthroughs (development)  infrastructure development, human resources, administrative procedure reform),  3 dynamic regions,  3 development axes and 1 safety belt,  4 urban centers,  6 key tasks.

The draft Planning provides a vision to strive: by 2025, essentially becoming a fast-growing, sustainable industrial province with economies of fair scale based on a uniform building of a "hard and soft" infrastructure. Develop sectoral clusters with potential to generate employment, income and revenue sources. To improve the quality of life of the population, narrow the gap between the rural areas, ethnic minority areas, remote and border areas with the urban areas. Strengthening regional connections; Completing e-government, gradually moving to digital government. By 2030, to become the modern industrial province, a "destination of attraction", one of the main drivers of the south East and by 2050 a highly developed, civilised province./.
